BACKGROUND

With 73 years experience in the trading markets, Brown Brothers Holdings conducted extensive research into the import and export market. This resulted in the identification of an opportunity to establish a company focusing on the import and export of commodities. Equipped with this information Brown Brothers Holdings founded Bayview Commodities in 2003, whose core focus is the import and export of commodities.

Our head office is strategically located in Cape Town in close proximity to the harbor, airport, rail and road networks. In addition to our head office, a branch was opened in Port Elizabeth to focus on the Motor and Agricultural industries of the Eastern Cape.

On the international front, our alliances spread from Continent to Continent with broad networks that interlink each continent. We have formed specific strategic alliances with International trading partners in Australia, Dubai, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
